Radical Poetry (wheres the hash key on this stupid mac) 16

I follow her lips,
Red in color,
She hasn't said a word,
Her silence makes me wonder,
Wonder about what she's thinking,
I encourage her to keep it that way,
When she looks like that,
She doesn't need to say a thing,
I'm so distracted,
and,
I follow her eyes,
Color blind,
She looks away,
I can't look away,
I'm distracted,
Her eyes begin to focus,
I can tell because she always squints,
She's focused,
I have to focus,
Our eyes meet across the table,
and she begins to talk,
and sadly,
I'm not so distracted anymore.
